Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow, born in Cologne to Christian parents, had three siblings and brothers. When she was 17, her parents divorced. Further financial troubles came in when the company they owned went under. Being anorexic and bulimic further added to her woes. Concerning her decision to quit as ARCH ENEMY's singer Gossow explained that there's an appropriate time and space for every thing. When I started in 1991, I was just beginning my career. The joy I felt in it began to fade. In lieu of denying it I quit, I decided to stop. The group was first led by Johan Liiva who was replaced by German singer Angela Gossow in 2000. In 1986, the Australian singer John Farnham recorded the song "You're The Voice". It was an instant hit both in Australia and across a variety of European nations, including Ireland and the UK. Alissa is also the former founder and vocalist in the Canadian metalcore group The Agonist. The various chapters of Arch Enemy are worthy of respect.
