LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30, 1984) was an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James has been widely acknowledged as one of history's most outstanding players in basketball. Michael Jordan is usually considered when discussing who is the best player. James has 4 NBA titles. Four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. and two Olympic golds. James has the world record of having the top number of points scored in the postseason, second highest all-time score, and the 7th the most assists in his career. James has been the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, an all-time record. James has also been selected to make the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. The third highest amount of NBA Finals ever was ten and eight of them were consecutive between 2011-2018. James was chosen as a part of the NHL75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022 he became first NBA player ever to score more than 10,000 career points. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School within his home town in Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media as a future NBA star. A prep-to-pro, he was chosen for the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection in 2003's NBA draft. He was named the 2004 NBA Rookie of Year the player quickly became one of the best league players, winning his NBA MVP Award in both 2009 and 2010. He was unable to secure a championship with Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent to join with the Miami Heat this was announced during the TV special The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent choices ever made in the history of sports.
