Lindsey Vonn is an American skier who was born 18 October 1984. In 2010, she retired after having won the four World Cup races and the Olympic gold medal for downhill skis. Her rank is second to none among female and male skiers on the basis of top scores. She's one of the most famous and most adored skiers in the history of skiing. Caroline Vonn, also known by her name Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer who competes in the US Ski Team. Four times she has been named the winner of the World Cup overall competition. It is a professional athlete that has earned a name for herself in American culture. She is the only six women who has won in each of the five alpine skiing World Cup events. She has won more than 82 World Cup titles. A world-class skier and one of America's most successful ski racers have made the decision to quit after the World Championships which take place in Sweden. Four-time World Cup overall champion decided to retire after suffering numerous health issues. Social media was used to announce her retirement. My final race of my professional career is scheduled to be on the island of Re Sweden next week, during the Downhill World Championships and SG World Championships.
